BODY ❂ MIND ❂ SPIRIT
Hi, I'm Meagan (she/her)
I am a trauma informed, somatically trained, attachment focused Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Los Angeles.
I am also a neurodivergent woman and highly sensitive human, and my lived experience has meaningfully shaped who I am and how I practice. My own journey to selfhood has guided the way I work with clients. I am not a “blank slate.” I’m a real person in the room, forming real relationships with the people who come to me for help.
Therapy helps people who recognize that something in their life isn’t working. It might be chronic feelings of unwellness, struggles with relationships, a sense of disconnectedness or unfullfillment… and something HAS to change.
If you want things to feel better -- if you want YOU to feel better -- I can help.

special interests
Over the last seven years of practicing therapy and exploring who I am, I have invested a great deal of time and energy deepening my knowledge around particular issues that people, including myself, struggle with. I consider these my “Special Interests.”
Trauma
Trauma is anything that feels like "Too Much, Too Fast, Too Soon." People experience trauma in many different ways, and at all stages of life. Whether a physical injury, a devastating loss, a toxic work environment, or adverse childhood experiences, trauma stays rooted in our nervous systems and negatively impacts our mental and physical wellbeing.
Chronic Pain & Illness
Chronic Conditions like Back Pain, Migraines, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, Ehlers-Danlos syndromes, Hypermobility conditions, IBS, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and others are increasingly prevalent in our society. These afflictions are usually debilitating, isolating, and scary. The standard medical approach focuses on symptoms, but does little to explore the complex underlying issues, and impact of living with such conditions.
Women's Issues
Women can often feel frustrated, challenged, exhausted and unhappy because of issues that are inherent to existing as a woman in our society. These can be things like self neglect, trouble setting boundaries, hyper-vigilance, sexual dysfunction, body dysmorphia, strained female relationships, and more. The way women are treated and the way we learn to treat ourselves has and continues to harm generation after generation.
